“ I had the pleasure of eating here today, and I was pleasantly surprised! I had the Katsudon Donburi and the restaurant to myself. The pork was a very slight bit over but was still rich, moist, and flavorful. The crusting was crunchy except where the little red picked peppers were, and it was sat on a scrambled egg with onion, on top of some steamed rice. Some dipping sauce would have been nice but maybe that's not how it's served in Japan. However, every bit of the food was flavorful, and pretty. The Japanese imported beer was also very nice, yuzu and sansho pepper. It's never heard of the brand so I tried it and was rewarded with a subtle pepper flavor and then sweet yuzu. Very interesting. ”

“ I had a wonderful time celebrating a good friends birthday last night! My lovely friends and I went to #thekazokuusa. I started with takoyaku which is fried Osaka style octopus balls(5), for entree I ordered the fresh ahi tuna poke bowl. My cousin ordered the Ebi tempura ramen, Shrimp tempura, egg. scallion, bamboo, nori, wakame. naruto, bonito flakes and shoyu broth ramen. To finish the night on the house we got Japanese cheesecake to celebrate our friend. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. The restaurant is a cute little cozy place and I will be returning!!! ”

Just a note: they may not be the quickest, especially if you order online, be aware that you may have to wait if they are busy. We ordered tonight and had to wait over an hour at the restaurant to pick up our food. ”

“ Went there for lunch and was instantly seated. Great happy hour Monday through Wed with $6 select appetizers. We got the gyoza and takoyaki. Both were delicious. We ordered ramen bowls for main course. They were excellent as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well! Highly recommend this place! ”

“ I've dined here a few times, and each time to food was delicious. The restaurant isn't large, so you are definitely going to get great service! Our server (pretty sure the owner) was super nice and very knowledgeable about the menu items. Each time I've dined here, I've had ramen. This time I had the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, which had a bit of heat to it. Perfect! The noodles and broth were perfect, as well. My wife had the Ebi Tempura Ramen and she said it was phenomenal. I love how the restaurant is decorated. Overall, the restaurant has a nice warm vibe to it. When we're in town, this is always our go-to ramen spot. There are others around town, but we'll stick with the one that we know has amazing food! ”
